Medicare Part D Enrollment
Grand Gateway partnered with the Center for Medicare Services (CMS) and Oklahoma Insurance Department, SHIP Program to assist Medicare beneficiaries with Medicare Part D, Low Income Subsidy (LIS), SMP Medicare Fraud Awareness, one-on-one counseling and Medicare Part D enrollment. Grand Gateway Area Agency on Aging recruits volunteers to assist our agency during Medicare’s Open Enrollment. Grand Gateway attends annual Medicare training events which includes hands on computer lab training with Medicare Path Finder and updated information on the Affordable Health Care Act.
Annual Diabetes Health Screening Initiative in Northeast Oklahoma is promoted by Grand Gateway Area Agency on Aging with partner agencies to include: the Oklahoma Insurance Department’s SHIP Program, Oklahoma Lions Club, Wyandotte Nation, Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma, Miami Tribe of Oklahoma, Delaware, Ottawa/Peoria, Seneca Cayuga and Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma. It provides free screenings with the Oklahoma Lions Club Mobile Van to includes vision, glaucoma, high blood pressure, diabetes, pulmonary (lung) disease and osteoporosis screenings.
