  The North East Oklahoma Regional Transportation Planning Organization (NEORTPO) has opened a 15 day public comment period for Planning Work Program financial plan (PWP). The PWP will be available for public comment from Monday, September 11, 2023 through Monday, September 25, 2023. This plan documents the federal funding that will be spent on surface transportation studies and programs in the NEORTPO region during federal fiscal year (FFY) 2024, which runs from October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024. The PWP is developed by the NEORTPO in coordination with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT). Throughout the year, the PWP serves as the guide for planners, citizens, and elected officials to track transportation planning activities. The PWP is available in the NEORTPO/GGEDA

planning office at 333 S. Oak Street Big Cabin, OK or can be viewed on the transportation planning portion of the Grand Gateway website under the heading “Grand Gateway (North East) RTPO Planning Work Program (PWP) FY2024 located at www.grandgateway.org

  NEORTPO welcomes public comment and feedback on regional transportation issues and will

furnish reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities upon request.

  The North East Oklahoma Regional Transportation Planning Organization (NEORTPO) has opened a 30-day public comment period for the draft Ottawa County Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). The draft LRTP will be available for public comment from Friday, May 19 th , 2023 through Saturday, June 17 th, 2023. The Ottawa County

Long Range Transportation Plan 2040 includes goals and policies based on a twenty year planning horizon, that lead to the development of an integrated, intermodal transportation system that facilitates safe and efficient movement of people and goods, while addressing current and future transportation demands. The draft LRTP document and the technical reports that make up the plan are available in the NEORTPO/GGEDA planning office at 333 South Oak Street, Big Cabin, Oklahoma, or can be viewed on the Transportation Planning portion of the Grand Gateway website under the heading “Ottawa County LRTP” located at www.grandgateway.org.

  The LRTP complies with the intent of the ten (10) planning factors of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and with the legislation known as Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21 st Century Act (MAP-21).
